Understand people
before changing organizations.
Our work is grounded in original research into the inner dimensions of human experience and their relationship with organizational systems. The research is developed through practice and continues to be tested and revised.
Five research assets
A framework for understanding how bodily states, emotions, cognition, meaning, and relationships interact in individual and organizational life. The shared vocabulary of our diagnoses.
Learn moreA diagnostic framework that classifies organizational conflict into four types, value, structure, cognition, and existence, before an intervention is selected.
Learn moreA structured framework for understanding human values and the motivations that shape behavior and decision-making.
Learn moreAn approach to connecting individual meaning, organizational purpose, contribution, and sustainable performance.
Learn moreA model for examining how an organization creates and distributes value across its stakeholders.
Learn moreFurther research, including Cognitive Window, is in progress and will be added here as it becomes ready for publication.
Why performance isn't consistent
Why does a highly capable person with a high vantage point sometimes fail to perform consistently? And why does someone who was never visible before suddenly step up in a crisis? Existing assessments cannot explain this swing.
We are researching this through three layers — a value map (what you value), a cognitive window (how the world appears to you), and competency (what you can bring to bear) — cut across by two dimensions: bias and stability.
What you value. The layer that sets the priorities behind a judgment.
How the world appears to you. The layer that splits readings of the same fact.
What you can bring to bear. The layer that moves in and out with the situation.
Two dimensions cut across all three: bias (which way you lean) and stability (how little you swing).
This perspective underpins the theoretical basis for how Compass, our corporate service, measures the "cognitive window."
We are preparing to present this as academic research in organizational management (details to follow).
How we research
Our research is born in the field: in organizational engagements and in the operation of our own products. Structures observed in practice are formalized as hypotheses, tested in the next engagement and the next product, and revised. This cycle runs across our three divisions: research (Think Tank), implementation (Produce), and productization (Asset).
Observe and formalize
Structures observed in engagements and products are formalized as reusable frameworks.
Test in practice
Each framework is used in subsequent engagements, where the precision of its diagnoses and interventions is examined.
Version and revise
The theory is version-controlled in a single repository, and every product references the same definitions, so what we say and what we ship cannot drift.
Evidence status
The frameworks published here are proprietary frameworks developed by Eudaimonia Universe through practice. They are currently being evaluated and are not presented as peer-reviewed, empirically validated research. Each page states its development background, evidence status, and limitations. They are not presented as replacements for established psychological, organizational behavior, or management theories; they are organizing frameworks for practical diagnosis and design.
Research and data ethics
- A person's words belong to the person. Individual responses and dialogue handled in our products and diagnostics are never passed to managers or the organization without the person's explicit consent. Organizations receive aggregates only.
- AI supports the analysis; people design the intervention. Responsibility for intervention design rests with people; AI is limited to supporting the analysis of structure.
- No exaggerated claims. We avoid phrases such as "scientifically proven" and keep the distinctions between original research, methods developed through practice, and work currently being evaluated.
- Only verifiable facts are published. Client names, outcome figures, and awards appear only after verification and publication approval.
Research partnerships
We welcome proposals for joint research on Human OS, Conflictology, and related themes, as well as data collaborations and field sites for evaluation.
