Think & Do Tank for Emergence

Transforming Conflict
into Emergence.

Harnessing Duality. Elevating Society.

Conflict is diagnosable.

Name the type before you choose the remedy.

Eudaimonia Universe is a Think & Do Tank for a Synthese Society, converting duality into fuel for societal evolution through research, implementation, and productization, grounded in Human OS and Conflictology.

Purpose

Conflict, elevated, becomes eudaimonia. The total grows.

Settled, a conflict costs someone. Elevated, it pays everyone.

Conflict rests on the assumption that one side must win. Synthesis breaks that assumption and produces what neither side held. The total grows. This is what we mean by abundance: the operation that turns taking into making.

Seen from a single person, it is the state in which eudaimonia, living well, and ikigai, a reason to rise in the morning, hold at the same time. Our name is the name of that world.

A note on terms

Sublation (German: Aufhebung, Japanese: 止揚) is Hegel's term for a movement that negates and preserves at once, lifting both sides to a higher order. We use it as the name of our method.

The triad of thesis, antithesis and synthesis is not Hegel's own formulation. It descends from Fichte and was popularized by Heinrich Moritz Chalybäus. We use the triad as a teaching device and locate the concept itself in Aufhebung.

We write Synthese, the German form, because the English word synthesis drifts toward mere compromise.

Method

We build the interval between event and decision.

Organizations react reflexively, as people do. The interval between an event and the decision it triggers is where judgement lives, and it is the thing we design. Every engagement runs through four named stages.

Stage 01

Structure

Read the situation through Human OS, a five-layer model of internal structure.

Stage 02

Diagnose

Classify the conflict through Conflictology, which sorts conflict into four types.

Stage 03

Intervene

Redesign the question, the decision process, or the roles, matched to the diagnosis.

Stage 04

Emergence

A higher-order answer neither side held at the outset. We call this synthese.

Conflict filed under "personality" always comes back. Meetings that never close, integrations that stall, the people you least wanted to lose: the remedies multiply because the cause was never named.

Framework One

Human OS

A model of a person's internal structure in five layers. It gives a diagnosis a shared vocabulary for where something is happening.

Body

Physical state and energy

Emotion

Affect and its signals

Mind

Thought and cognition

Meaning

Purpose and values

Relationship

Bonds and belonging

Framework Two

Conflictology

A framework that sorts conflict into four types before any intervention is chosen. Choosing a remedy without naming the type is the most common reason dialogue fails.

Cognition

The parties read the same facts differently. The question at issue is is.

Value

The parties hold different things to be important. The question at issue is ought.

Structure

Incentives, roles or processes place the parties in opposition regardless of intent.

Existence

A party's standing or identity feels threatened. The question at issue is who.

Architecture

Three divisions in one cycle

Research sharpens the frameworks, fieldwork tests them, and productization returns them to society at scale. Each division feeds the next.

Think Tank

Studies conflict and human structure, and formalizes what is learned into reproducible method.

Produce

Applies the method inside organizations: transformation, decision design, and venture development.

Asset

Turns field knowledge into products, so that the method travels without us in the room.

Products in service

Ten applications share one versioned theory layer. Our theory is version-controlled in a single repository and every application references the same definitions, so what we say and what we ship cannot drift.

Questions

Frequently asked

What is Eudaimonia Universe?
Eudaimonia Universe is a Think & Do Tank for a Synthese Society, converting duality into fuel for societal evolution through research, implementation, and productization, grounded in Human OS and Conflictology. Founded and led by Takayuki Mizuno, it operates three divisions and ten applications.
What does "conflict is diagnosable" mean?
It means a conflict has a type, and the type can be identified before any remedy is chosen. We classify conflict into four types through Conflictology and locate it in one of the five layers of Human OS. Diagnosis precedes prescription, as it does in medicine.
What is a Synthese Society?
A society that does not erase its oppositions but uses them. Thesis and antithesis are held in tension until a higher-order answer, a synthese, emerges. We write the German form because the English word synthesis drifts toward mere compromise.
What is Human OS?
Human OS is a model of a person's internal structure in five layers: Body, Emotion, Mind, Meaning and Relationship. In a diagnosis it functions as a shared vocabulary for identifying which layer a difficulty actually sits in, before anyone proposes a remedy.
What is Conflictology?
Conflictology is a framework that classifies conflict into four types: cognition, where facts are read differently; value, where priorities differ; structure, where incentives place parties in opposition; and existence, where standing or identity feels threatened.
Why does dialogue alone fail to resolve organizational conflict?
Because conflict is a structural phenomenon with several causes acting at once. Without identifying which type is dominant, further conversation applies remedies that do not match the cause. Naming the type first is what makes the subsequent conversation productive.
What does intervention mean in practice?
A concrete move against the structure of a conflict. It may mean redesigning the question a team is arguing about, rebuilding the meeting or the consent process, or altering roles and the setting for dialogue. The move is selected from the diagnosis.
How does an engagement proceed?
In four stages: structure, diagnose, intervene, emergence. We read the situation through the five layers of Human OS, classify the conflict through the four types of Conflictology, design an intervention matched to that classification, and work toward an answer neither side held at the outset.
How is AI used?
AI supports the analysis; people design the intervention. Combining our frameworks with AI analysis lets us read a structure faster and in more detail. In our products, a person's own words are never passed to their manager; only aggregates are, enforced at the database view.
